Museum Visits

We will spend part of one day in a whirlwind tour of three remarkable air museums.
Planes of Fame

Planes of Fame hosts a superb collection of aircraft from around the world. The museum's focus on flying their aircraft is one of the reasons Chino Airport is a hub for flyable aircraft restoration.
Chino hosts a handful of one of a kind aircraft you can see nowhere else!

Yanks has a remarkable standard of restoration, with many lovely jets of the 1950s and 1960s, plus a unique collection of early civil aviation. Guests are welcome in the restoration hanger (active on weekdays) and boneyard.

March Field Air Museum

Set adjacent to March Air Reserve Base, a current tanking and air mobility base, and former SAC base, the March Field Air Museum hosts a wide range of large USAF types outside, and unique items from the movie Strategic Air Command and the bases test history.
